How to use Alarm and Event Display indicator from DSC palette on the front panel

Hi everyone,

Please I will need help on the following problem I am having on using Alarm and Event Display control on front panel.

I have configured data logging: log alarms and events and also alarming for my shared variables on the project explorer. I then placed the alarm and event display indicator from the DSC palette on the front panel.

I then run my VI expecting to see a displayed message on the alarm and event display control but nothing showed when my alarm set point was reached. 

Please how can I make these alarms to appear on the Alarm and Event display indicator on my VI front panel.

It might be a good idea if you post your project here on the forum so that we can have a look at it.

Further from that, it is worth checking out some examples to see how it is configured.

The shipped DSC Alarms Demo.lvproj is probably a good place to start.
