How to write multiple waveforms to a spreadsheet file. My labview 5.1(professional) doesn't have Export waveforms to spreadsheet file.vi Please help me out and tell me where to update my labview version and have that sub vi

You can build a 2d array and wire it to "rite to spreadsheet file" so you'll have different waveforms in one spreadsheet.
Hope this helps

There is an example called Waveform Arrays to File.vi. Is this what you are looking for? If it's not in your example folder, try reinstalling LabVIEW. If it's another vi you want, you might want to go to http://www.mooregoodideas.com/FAVIs/index.html and do a search there.

I think you might be refering to the "Export Waveforms to Spreadsheet file.VI" that comes with LabVIEW 6. The actual waveform data type, which is composed of t0, delta t, and data array, was not introduced until LabVIEW 6. You would have to upgrade to 6 to use this VI.

Greetings:

You might want to do this... use the "GEt WAve Components" node to convert the WAVEform into an array...(you have to expand the bundle to display "y data" Then you can save the data in the spreadheet like any other array...in this case a 2D set of waveform data. Good luck!

Hello Michael:

You can use the "get waveform components" node and which will give you x, y, and t0 data independently, which you can then route to a spreadsheet file.
