I accidently delete the cRIO 9012 from the the MAX (remote system) .

Hi all ,

I would like to ask a question .

I have updated the LabView into 8.5 .

After that i connected it with the chassis cRIO 9012 . IN the Mesurement & Automation Explore , it detect the cRIO 9012 and ask for the IP address . When i put the IP address , it said that the IP address have been used . Because of that problem I accidently delete the cRIO 9012 (under remote system)from the the MAX  .How can i get back my cRIO 9012 device under the MAX.

thank you ,

kit

Hi there,

If your system is still on the network and that the IP address is not in conflict with another one, then you just need to refresh MAX (by pressing F5).

However, if you have an IP address conflict, you have 2 solutions. One is to connect the cRIO using a cross over cable and see if it is there. The second is to reset the IP address of the cRIO (you need to turn off the cRIO , flip the switch IP Reset, turn it on and WAIT until the Status LED is flashing, turn it off, place the switch to it's original position and turn it back on again).  At that stage, the cRIO should have the 0.0.0.0 IP and you can select another IP.

I hope this helps
