There is a LabVIEW/modbus driver for the Eurotherm 800 series that might work with the Watlow. I have attached the comms.llb, or you can get it from the Eurotherm website. At least, some of the modbus subroutines might be useful.
Also, there is a GPIB-to-modbus interface from ICS electronics that has LabVIEW drivers (icselect.com). Good luck!
