I am using Labview 5.1 and

a data acquisition card PC-LPM-16PNP with Windows 98. How can I measure and display the human pulse rate of such a low frequency and signal level of 72 pulses/min or 1.2 Hz. I am using a probe directly attached to the hands and legs. Thanks for any reply.

Thanks for any reply.I believe you might have better luck posting questions involving NI hardware, whatever the software interface, to the Multifunctions I/O (under Measurements sub-heading) forum at the following web site:

http://exchange.ni.com/servlet/ProcessRequest?RHIVEID=101&RPAGEID=0&RSESSION=101_3648:1615e061531d61b43bac307c:982694977331:101

By doing this, users who are well versed in interfacing with NI hardware will probably have better insight to questions similar to this one. I hope this helps.

Any of the buffered charts will display data right down to DC. (I hope you know all about patient isolation and related safety issues! You don't want to electrocute the guy!) Be sure your DAQ is DC coupled

In terms of the software functionality what specific concerns do you have?
