Guenter is right in that the Fieldpoint 5.0 drivers were released with a previous version of LabVIEW, and not the recent version, LabVIEW 8.5. The link he has provided to the Device Drivers from August 2007 is the only place to obtain the Fieldpoint 6.0 drivers without the CD that accompanies the actual hardware.
As far as what you have mentioned about .iak files, I think that you are referring to something that is explained
here.
This document may also be helpful, if you are working with a pre-existing .iak file.
I hope this helps! In general it looks like you need to get the version of the Fieldpoint drivers that coorrespond to LabVIEW 8.5, and become a little more familiar with Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) and its capabilities. Have a great day!
