I cannot "Swap sides" in a waveform chart

Hi, I'm trying to create a waveform chart with two Y-axis.

If I click "Duplicate scale", I can see in Properties that a new scale is created.

However, it is not possible to click "Swap sides" since this menu item is grayed out - so I can not move the new scale to the right side.

Note that the new scale is NOT placed beside the first but at the same position, when I click "Duplicate scale".

Any ideas why I can't click "Swap sides" ?

Hey,

Which version of LabVIEW do you use?

Can you reproduce this if you open an VI place chart on it, duplicate the scale and try to swap it?

The LV version is 8.20.

If I make a blank VI and start from scratch as you write, there is no problem. Then the new scale appears beside the old, and can be swapped.

So you only notice this problem in an specific application of yours.

In that case you should try to replace the waveform chart with a new one from the palette to see if the one allready in the frontpanle might became corrupt.

I think you are right, I have replaced the chart with a new one and then all is OK.

Thanks for your help.

This just happened to me - swap scales was grayed out and duplicating put it right on top of the existing.  Replacing with another XY graph solved it but also reset all my customizations.  Reverted my changes and then checked on Auto Adjust Scales (I had it off before).  Now the duplicate and swap works normally!  Turned off Auto Adjust Scales again and all OK.

Using LabVIEW 2018.
