I have problem about driving daNI (Robotics Starter Kit 2.0) motors.

Hi,

I am using a daNI mobile robot (Robotics Starter Kit 2.0) for my academic projects.

I disassembled the robot to use its mechanical construction and after finishing this project i reassembled the robot.

But now, i have a problem about driving one of the motors.

Even on the test panel, if i give a pulse to the left motor, it starts to drive at the highest speed and i am not able to change the speed and the direction of the motor.

And I have no problem with the right motor and encoder.

Also i tried lots of combinations of cable connections, so i think there is no problem with motors and encoders.

I will be really happy if anyone has an idea about this situation.

Hello SerSav,

You say you do not believe it is an issue with the motor, but we need a way of knowing for sure. Therefore, I would like to know, have you tried switching out the right motor (which you say works fine) with the left motor? By that I mean, simply disconnecting the right motor how you have it, and subbing those connections to the left motor.
