I have 2017 and 2018 Professional Development (32 and 64 bit for both), does this not come with Mathscript module? I have data processing code in MATLAB and would like to use it in my labview code which controls motion and DAQ. I have downloaded both the LV 2018 32 and 64 bit Mathscript files but cannot install them, the message says i have to have LV 2018 installed before i can install the Mathscript addon...
I'm confused about this, can anyone help me out.

LabVIEW professional does not contain the Mathscript module (many versions ago, it did). What exactly did you download/install?

Mathscript RT module for 2018 (64), didnt' install though, looks like i need to purchase the license.

I thought it would still install, but just in time limited eval mode... Not sure...

So riddle me this...
Does the Mathscript module allow the use of Matlab (.m) files without the Matlab license? I have a license and can use the matlab script node but when i create an executable the matlab license will be required to run that code on whatever machine it's installed on. If i can't get around the Matlab license requirement then the Mathscript module has no use to me.
The literature is fuzzy on this i actually called NI about the installation and the App engineer didn't know either... If anyone has info or is currently using the Mathscript module please weigh in, i'd appreciate it.

Mathschript is 100% pure NI and has nothing to do with Matlab except for the code syntax.
No Matlab license is needed to run Mathscript.

Who are you asking?
You should contact NI.

You can place an order here.
(If you are using student, home, or academic LabVIEW editions, it might be included)
