Using LV 8.5.1:
1. In Project Explorer, I select my shared variable .lvlib file, right click it, and select Autodeploy Variables to uncheck it. I confirm the uncheck by repeating the right click. Now I save the project, reopen i, and the check mark is back. Why?
2. Periodically, while my project is open, I get a popup that states something like "Unable to autosave project.lvproj" with an OK button. Why?
I've check the file attributes and the project file is not read-only.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi kc64,
This was reported to R&D (# 115766) and was fixed in LabVIEW 8.6. You can disable the autosave feature if you like. Thank you for your feedback.

Hi KC64,
Right, item 2. As for Item 1, are there any errors during the save? Have you changed permissions on the .alias file?
