I'm looking for Stress-Strain Data Analysis Examples

I'm looking for a program to analyze stress-strain data from a system with a load cell and motorized translation stage. I can synchronize the position and load data as pairs of X-Y points but I am now trying to put together a program to provide analysis such as peak load, extension at break, modulus, etc...).

You might want to post this to the data acquisition developer exchange forums. They are more likely to have experience with this. Also, as far as the analysis, LabVIEW has a number of analysis toolkits that you could look into (http://www.ni.com/labview).

Dear jpierce,

I'm interested in how you synchronized position and load data. I have a Maxon motor-actuated translation stage and an ATI Nano 17 load cell.

I have to perform stress-strain tests, however I'm unable to understand how I can synchronize position of the stage with forces from load cell.

What did you use to do that and what kind of actuator you used ?

Please, help me, I really need to graduate for my master thesis and I'm getting this trouble !
