I'm trying to determine the version number of a LabVIEW standalone application

I've just installed LV v8.2 after previously using v6.1

In v6.1 I made up my own version number (a string) and reported it to the user in an About box.

The v8.2 application builder now puts a standard 4-field version number into the built application.

I'd like to report that version number to the user in the About box, but I haven't figured out how to get hold of it.

Is there no facility in LabVIEW for determining the version number the application builder assigns to the stand alone executable that it creates?
