I need to acquire data coming in at the line in port of the sound card

Does anybody know how to acquire sound from a soundcards line in port instead of microphone port?
The SI Config panel does not allow to select the input port.

Dear Andreas,

There is a useful KnowledgeBase article that helps with the configuration of your sound card for inputs other than the mic input.

In brief: the control over the recording source is at OS level rather than application level i.e. you can't directly select the line input from LabVIEW but need to use utilities provided with the OS or sound card. The article has more detailed advice on the matter.
