I've got Labview 7.1; how can I build an application to run on Windows '95?

I've got Labview 7.1 with App Builder 7.1. I've been asked to modify some legacy Labview code and build it into an application that runs on Windows '95, '98, & 2000. Is this possible without getting an earlier version of Labview?

Since the 7.1 runtime will not install on 95 or 98, you try making your own runtime installer. You just need to copy the correct files to the target PC to get it to work. Still no guarantee that it will run on 95, but it�s worth a shot.

Unfortunately, LabVIEW 7.1 does not support Windows 95 or 98. Although the solution above is certainly not supported by NI, you could give it a shot as a work around. Alternatively, if you had access to an earlier version of LabVIEW, you could develop in 7.1, then select File >> Save with Options and Save for a Previous Version back to 6.1, which would support both 95 and 98, and then create your app from there for your Windows 95 and 98 systems. I'm sorry that there isn't a more elegant solution for your issue. Hope this helps.
