I want measure a PWM signal with NI DAQCard-6024E for PCMCIA, but the it is to slow!

Hello,

I had a NI DAQCard-6024E and i want to measure a PWM-Signal wit a Period Time of 1ms.
My problem ist my PC calculate al lot of time - the processor load is 100% and it will be gone a many time (500 - 1000ms) before i have a correct PWM DutyCycle on my screen.

What is wrong? Is my Card to slow, is my PC (Pentium3, 750MHz) to slow or is my LabView program not right?

To generate the PWM i use the "Mesure Pulth Width or Period.vi" VI.

What I have to do???

hi FTE,

can you post a small example VI of your programmed measurement loop with the PWM. the processor load of 100% normally indicates that you programmed a loop without "wait". for that please have a look at the examples delivered with LV.
