I want to use the VI Beep with its options of frequency, repetition time...

I want to use the VI Beep with its options of frequency, repetition time... but in the help of my Labview there is written that these parameters are ignored. What´s the reason? Do I need a special package? At the moment I got no Soundcard in my computer. Is that possibly the reason that the help says it´s not possible.

To use those parameters with pc speaker, you will have to call KERNEL32.dll.
Attached is a vi to do that. It was downloaded from old NI forum. I don´t remenber who was the author.
