I would like to know how to use LabVIEW to capture waveforms from a Tektronix TDS 754D Oscilloscope through the GPIB Bus.

I called tektronix tech support but they just tried to get me to buy another product. The tech support guy said that you could use the "curve query" to do this, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

What I really want to do is to save waveforms onto the hard drive of my PC in .csv and .tif formats. My PC is connected to the scope through NI's GPIB card. I want to figure out how to use LabVIEW to read in the data from the scope.

There should be a driver for TDS754D at NI website.
http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/default.htm
Check out for the driver if not ther should be a similar driver for your scope. You can read the programmer manual for more information.
