I have a program that is going to go out to a manufacturing facility and it is totally written in labview. The problem that I have is that i cannot release this product until I come up with a scheme for user name and password. One thing I am trying to get passed thru my superiors is to use the windows login as the user name and password but so far that is not flying. Here is the criteria. 1. must be able to set Admin previlages. 2. must be user changeable 3. password must expire. Pretty much the same criteria for most software packages that use password and user ID. I'll take any hints or how to's or should do's or can do's or any type of already written G-code. Thanks

Clarification: I mean, in addition to encryption, I'd use a LabVIEW datalog file. That is, I'd encrypt everything and then write as LabVIEW datalog file.
