IDL DrawWidget Control

I am trying to link IDL with labview via ActiveX. I have a tutorial walking me through it (from NI) however when I try to import IDL DrawWidget control, I receive an error that I do not have a file named image.c Is there anywhere I could download the newest version of this component (I didn't install the component origionally and it is IDL DrawWidget Control 2.0, there is supposedly a 3.0 out). I have looked with no success for the install for this ActiveX component. Thanks for any help you can grant-

I am sorry, but you will need to contact the vendor of the DrawWidget Control 2.0 component in order to obtain a current copy of the software.

Are you having any issues with native LabVIEW components? Do you have multiple versions of LabVIEW installed? Hope this helps a bit. Good luck!

Hi Ryan,

I am not too sure what you mean when you state that you didnt install the component originally. Is IDL installed on your computer? Did you copy the IDL ocx file from another pc and not register it with Windows?

Research Systems dont release the ActiveX component without buying the IDL software. The ActiveX component gets installed and registered during the IDL installation. You can download a trial version of IDL 6.0 [which comes with DrawWidget 3.0] from www.RSinc.com/IDL
