IMAQ Convert ROI to point.vi has low pointing resolution

When pointing to an IMAQ Image Display control the 'IMAQ convert ROI to Point.vi' doesnt recognise a new cursor position until movement is about 8 pixels. I am using the display ROI property node as input to the 'IMAQ convert ROI to Point.vi'. Am using LV7.1 & IMAQ7.0.

Hello,

The problem that existing ROI prevent drawing new ROI in surround. One possible (probably not the best)solution - duplicate ROI with overlay, and then delete ROI programmatically after mouse click. See attachment for details (just as starting point).
