Icon file problem

I get the following error while trying to use my custom icon file in my build
What could be the problem?

I created the icon file using a freeware called Irfan View v 3.99. The metadata of the file is as follows
Compression level - 6 (on a scale of 0 - 9)
Encoding - Binary

Hi Dasi!

It seems the problem is related to selecting True color (24 bits) when you save the .ico file. Check the following link for more information:

Based on your suggestion, i changed the color settings of the icon file I had been using, and was able to fix that error.
