Idea exchange not working?

Is the idea exchange working? I posted an idea and I know it is here but I can't  comment on it, and it doesn't show up in searches when I try to search for it.

For about 5 minutes after I posted it would show up in searches but then it stopped. I actually posted it twice and the first time I thought it hadn't worked because when I looked for it I couldn't find it.

Am I doing something wrong or is the idea exchange broken?

I noticed someone else was able to post so I tried again, same result. My post just disappears, and the link to it I manage to save I can't comment on. What am I doing wrong??

It looks like he reposted it on Oct. 13.  The link he has in his Oct. 10 message in this thread is broken.  So it seems like the original posting of his idea got lost.

Separate issue but, my idea exchange posts seem to be losing their embedded pictures after a while. Not sure what's up with that.
