Image of cluster

hello, I my App. I need to print several controls into a JPEG file. I am able to use the "Get Image" method (and Get Image Subset VI) with every control except one: a cluster.

Look into the attached VI. Could someone tell me how I could print the complete content of the cluster inside the picture?

Looks like you found a LabVIEw 8.0 bug....

LabVIEw 8.20 is a bit better, because it gets the cluster image. It is still not perfect, because it seems to loose the color information. 😞

😞 OK, at least I know that the problem does not come fom the code. It will manage in an other way.

Thanks for your answer

This sounds similar to the Report Geneartion Toolkit bug re:clusters.

I think Daren mentioned this was fixed.

The Background color issue in LV 8.20 may be a new issue.

This worked correctly in LV 7.1.

Possible work-around is use a decoration >>> flat box as the background of the cluster elements.

This bug also casues the method "FP.GetImage to fail with a similar ailment.

It behaves like the cluster container is transparent.

flat box as background does not work on my side, I still get an empty picture...

Thanks for the time you spent on my topic.

I use LV 8.0 (not planning to switch to 8.1 or 8.01).

I failed to indicate that my above mentioned finding apply to LV 8.2

My apologies for the delay in posting this, but.......

This was reported to R&D (# 43CA7LVB) for further investigation.

Great catch in finding this one, as well as a viable workaround so quickly!
