In LV 8.5, is there an equivalent function to Matlab's quiver3?

That is correct.  The MATLAB© script node actually has the MATLAB© engine itself execute the script, which is why  MATLAB© must be installed on the computer.  MathScript is developed by NI  and does not require any external software to be installed.

I've been following this link for a while, looking for a quiver3d plot in LabVIEW.  Finally, in LabVIEW 2009, the 3D Quiver is an option as one of the standard 3D Graphs now.  I know this doesn't help for LV8.5...

Yes, we also can use 3D Quiver in Labview 2011 to plot 3D vector. However, there are some stranges as I posted in this link? Anyone can help?
