Initialization issues?

Hi All,

   I'm attempting to get the VI attached below to properly work. It wasn't written by me, but I'm trying to get all the kinks worked out. It's a sub-node of a bigger system, but as far as I can tell it should run once through without errors. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) I'm seeing an error after a property node (error -1073807346) and can't seem to track down the issue. Any help would be appreciated.
