Input items to a ComboBox at runtime

I am having some errors with the PDA Set Ring String VI, because I have never used it before and I don't have a book that shows it being used. Just doing a try and error type thing. I wrote down my algorithms and then trying to see the right VI that will do thing.

Please I need an example on how to use the PDA Set Ring String.

This is one possibility (my preferred). References are created right clicking on the control and choosing Create->Reference.
Alternatively, you can wire the control tab order (you can check it with Edit -> Set Tabbing Order).
This vi is LV PDA 7.1
