Install NI Vision on Real-Time system

Hello,

I am trying to install NI Vision RT and NI-IMAQ RT on my PXI 8108 controller. However, I'm always getting an error, that there are unresolved dependencies and that a certain version of NIVISSVC is required.

Does anybody know a solution for my problem?

Is this problem related to the problem described in the knowledgebase (Document ID: 46PK6PP6)?

Some data of my host system:

- LabVIEW 8.6.1

- Measurement & Automation Explorer 4.6.1

- NI Vision 8.6 (Image Processing and Machine Vision and Services)

- NI-IMAQ 4.1

- NI-IMAQ I/O 2.2

- NI-IMAQdx 3.2

The PXI-controller:

PXI System (NI PXI-8108)

- PCI-GPIB

- Chassis 1 (PXI-1042Q)

- PXI-6733

- PXI-8432/4

- PXI-6233

have you already tried the solution in the knowledgebase? 

If it's possible for you, you can try to install the newest LabVIEW 2009 and NI Vision 2009

According to the solution in the knowledgebase article, the problem occured in Vision 8.2.1 and should be solved in version 8.2.2 (and later?).

The supplied patches work only with Vision 8.2.1 and not with my installed Vision 8.6.

All PCs in my company use LabView 8.6.1, so the installation of LabVIEW 2009 and NI Vision 2009 is only an option, if there is really no other solution.

After installation of Vision 9.0 and NI-IMAQ 4.4 on my host computer, I had no more problems with the installation on the Real-Time system.
