Installation problem with Nidaq 6.1 and Labview 6i (Student)

I am trying to load the Labview Supports Files according to KnowledgeBase 20O615V2 "How do I use Older Versions of NI-DAQ (6.8 or earlier) with LabVIEW 6.x" I'm using LabVIEW 6i (6.0 Student) and loading Drivers NiDaq 6.1 which I downloaded. At step 3, I get the message saying that there is a newer version of the NiDAQ install available and I cannot continue. I have supplied the correct location of Labview and selected 5.0 as the version as instructed. What do I do next?

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

Unfortunately, you must use the version of NI-DAQ that ships with LabVIEW 6i. The student edition will not allow use of any other version of the driver.
