Hello,
I'm trying to help my company out by making LabVIEW versions available for installation without the need for disks. We here use LabVIEW 2009 and so I've downloaded 2009 and made it available to all employees who don't have current subscriptions. Maintaining old discs is a pain.
However, which Device Driver package do I download? I see version 9 seems to last through 2010. Is it just smarter to download the latest device driver version? They're reverse compatible? Back in those days, the Service Pack came out the spring of the following year. i.e. LV 2009 Sp1 came out in February of 2010. So I'd use the 2010 device driver?
Thoughts?

Also, what all are on the Device Drivers? I'm wondering if it's even necessary. I think all we need here is VISA which I believe comes with normal installation.

The NI device drivers only support the current and previous 3 LabVIEW versions. So DAQmx 20 support LabVIEW 2020 and down to 2017.
For your LabVIEW 2009 you do not want to go higher than the drivers released in 2013 as never versions will not only not install into LabVIEW 2009, but actively remove any already installed version of that driver from it.
