Installing Lab View 8 Evaluation - My ie6 isnt recognised

Hello guys,

What happens is that when i start installing Lab View 8 Evaluation version it says that

i need ie4 or higher to proceed. I have ie6 installed , though. I already tried to reinstall ie

and also to reinstall labview, but it didnt work.

Any suggestions?

Hello Joao,

LabVIEW uses Internet Explorer for a features such as the help and documentation. It sounds like you have tried reinstalling. Have you also tried to uninstall what you have currently and then reinstall? Have you installed all possible patches for your browser as well? As a last resort, you may also want to try doing a custom install of LabVIEW and deselect the Help and Documentation, just to see if it will install correctly. I hope this gets you started!
