Build application comes with LabVIEW Professional development system
FDS will not have this option

Thing is, it installed on my laptop, but not my main workstation.
I was however able to build it from the laptop and transfer it to my main PC.

As far as I can remember when I purchased LV7.1 Full Development with the Application Builder, the builder came on a separate CD. This caused me some grief as it arrived some time after other CDs and I couldn't find it either, I was on the point of contacting NI when it arrived.

Hi,
You can Purchase NI Application Builder as a seperate item, but it is definitely not included in the Full Developement System, only the Professional.
When it is purchased as a seperate item rather than as part of the professional developement system, the reason it comes on a seperate CD despite being built into LabVIEW is because it needs to be activated.
It cannot be activated using code generated from the Full Developement serial number as the FDS does not have the application builder.
So in order to attain an activation code which will activate the Application builder within Labview FDS a seperate serial number is needed. This is done by shipping a seperate CD due to the fact that serial numbers are assigned to items when they are shipped.
I hope this clears thing up

Ah!!!! Thanks...That makes a lot more sense 🙂
Pre installed on my laptop you see....
Now if I can only get my temperatures to show up on my QSI Qterm-G75.... ..everything else is peachy (apart from my old laptop crashing in the mornings...he heh).
