Instrument I/O assistant

I have tried to use the I/O assistant to control a pump through an RS232
connection. I have added the steps write, read and parse, read and parse.
When I run the steps i receive the expected answer from the pump. However,
when I rename the output and push the OK butten, no output apears from my
I/O assistant in the block diagram. Has anyone solved this little problem, I
would be happy to know.

There is a bug in older versions of the I/O Assistant where it would fail to generate the underlying code (including the outputs) on some non-English operating systems - are you using a non-English version of Windows? If you are, which version of LabVIEW are you using?

If that is not the problem, then the best thing to do is for you to attach a copy of your VI that contains the I/O Assistant Express VI in it, and I can try to debug why the outputs are not appearing.

Try to upgrade to I/O assistant v1.01 🙂
