In working with some premade drivers for a couple of instruments, the test equipment would stay in remote control. When using close, reset, or abort the instruments still would need to have the local button pressed by the user in order to be set back to default conditions. The development PC is using LabVIEW 7.1 with HPIB card (Hewlett-Packard GPIB). using NI-spy to verify the units are recieving and responding correctly is not an option due to the card being used for the project. any ideas? generic VISA closes or anything like that potentially work?
