Thank you for posting to the NI Forums. There are two available LabVIEW APIs that can be used to control the PXI-4351. You can either use the Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) driver or the NI-435x driver. LabVIEW examples are included with both drivers and are a good place to start. You can find the examples by selecting Help >> Find Examples. When the NI Example Finder opens select the Browse tab. For Traditional DAQ examples navigate to Hardware Input and Output >> Traditional DAQ. For 435x examples navigate to Hardware Input and Output >> Modular Instruments >> 435x.
Typically we recommend using the TC-2190, TBX-68T or the CB-68T to use with the PXI-4351. However all the pins of the 4351 will also be available with the CB-68LP. The pinout is located in the Appendix of the User Manual for the 435x. The chart describes the pinout of the TBX-68 but should be equivelent for the CB-68LP. The manual is located at:
https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/370841b/resource/370841b.pdf
The manual is also an excellent resource for configuring, installing, and using the PXI-4351.
and Where to Start with the 4351/4350 located at:
https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/321562d/resource/321562d.pdf
Hopefully these resouces will be helpful in getting started using the PXI-4351 to measure thermocouples. Let me know if you have any additional questions about getting started with the PXI-4351. Good luck with your application.

Thanks Neil for that
Which are the latest cards giving faster and better response for the thermocouple interface?
Which cards to be used for the freq. input ?

Hi,
In terms of functionality and resolution, the 4351 is an excellent device for thermocouple measurements. We do have some other thermocouple modules such as the USB-9211/A as well as several modules from the SCXI product line. The 9211A has a resolution equal to the 4351, plus the Plug-and-Play USB feature adds to its portability.
There are links to these below.
There are several other modules for the SCXI product line.
I hope this helps. Post back with further questions.
