I am Final Year Student and i'm currently doing my final year project regarding integration of plc and pac and display the integration data on HMI whereby the data is collected from website or cloud. The plc i'm using is OMRON SYSMAC CJ2M while for the pac i'm using NI CompactRio 9073. Based on my research, the method to communication between these two industrial controller is via Modbus TCP/IP and the possible ways of communicating these controller is the PAC will act as a Master while PLC as Slave. The current problem that i'm facing now is that to design the block diagram wiring in Labview. And is there any possible open software for scada that is easier to design and is it possible to create the SCADA via Matlab since things that i'm trying to control and monitor is traffic light? The only resources is the attachment below on Modbus Demo whereby CompactRIO is Master and PC is Slave. I really hope that the community can enlighten me with this problem 🙂 Thank You.
