Is This a bug with Item datatypes

Quick question. How can labview return a value of -1 for "item data type" when the data type used is U16? Have a look on page 3-18 of the LV DSC manual that comes on the disc.

Obviously, this is a representation of a I16 datatype. This is just a small cosmetic error in the LabVIEW DSC VI-based Server Development Toolkit Manual.

If you place this VI should should be able to verify that "item data type" is of I16.
