As far as I know there is not a VI to get the pulse parameters of an exponential pulse. The help for the Pulse parameters VI explains how the measuremet is taken. You couls use those steps to create your own customized version of the VI.
Another idea is to modify your signal before getting the pulse parameters. You could set a threashold value to force it to have a floor, or clip it in the top part to make it look more like a pulse.
You can also post here some sample data so that we can help you figure out how to get better results from the VI.
