Is there a demo of the Linux version of LabVIEW 7.0?

My company is interested in using the Linux version of LabVIEW, and I was wondering there is an evaluation version (similar to the 30-day trial for Windows) for running under Linux? The links on the NI website only allow the download of a Windows evaluation version.

Thanks
Neil

Did you go to the link posted in this thread?

http://exchange.ni.com/servlet/ProcessRequest?RHIVEID=101&RPAGEID=135&HOID=5065000000080000007C630000&UCATEGORY_0=_49_%24_6_&UCATEGORY_S=0&USEARCHCONTEXT_QUESTION_0=Linux+demo&USEARCHCONTEXT_QUESTION_S=0

You are right that the form is for Windows version only.

However, they recommend the following:

quote:"LabVIEW 7 Express Evaluation Software Download (Windows only)
The download is 172 MB and does not include hardware drivers for instrument control or data acquisition (drivers are included on evaluation CD). For other operating systems, please Contact NI."

Here is the link to contact NI:

Joe,

Thanks, I hadn't noticed the "contact NI" bit.

Hi Neil,

There is no evalution version of LabVIEW for Linux.

If you are interested in this software, I recommend calling your local National Instruments office. They should be able to send you a full featured version for a limited time, so you can evaluate it.
