That lib that you pointed out seems to do magic. I am using LabVIEW 8.2 in office and LabVIEW 8.5 at home. Would the lib work with 8.5 too? Is the lib safe to use generally (I mean should I make it a part of my regular arsenal?

Yes. It ll works for any LV version up & from 7.0.

You can also keep it inside the Project folder to make it appear in the Tools menu.

I meant the \...\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\project folder.

Ahhhh, my dream is to be able to select a bunch of parallel wires and be able to equally space them with the alignment tools.......I'm so A. Retentive, I don't know how many hours I've wasted making the code "look nice".  In a lot of cases it is not necessary, but many times my project requirements include providing the source code to the customer, and I can't bear to put my name on something that looks sloppy.....
