Is there a way to beautify the code automatically?

Ahhhhh,

And my dream is to have a feature to "lock the wires to the grid"...just like the CAD programs I design in.

I couldn't agree more, wd8ivl! Sometimes its more of a headache how make code look more pleasant to look at, than the effort that went into coding itself.

I could also think of a zoom in / out function on the block diagram, similar to pressing ctrl + mouse scroll wheel in MS Office or CAD programs to get an overview of your code and make it easier to move around large structures.

And it looks like my boss is following your philosophy, which is giving me headches. I arrange things one-way, my senior looks at things the other way and the boss has different view about the code aesthetics.

Might come handy in some situations (specially when VI Analyzer finds wire bends a few pixel in length which are hard to decipher by ordinary coders).
