Is there a way to save a ".HPGL" file from a network analyzer to a computer?
using LabVIEW and Network Analyzer 8753ES

See the floppy? (I believe it's called something stupid like "external memory" in the menu.) Other than that, I think there's an ancient program to grab data from the NA, but I don't remember what it is... Sorry.

Sorry I missed being specific. Do it using GPIB connection.

Read the (programming) manual of your device.
Learn about it remote programming using GPIB connection.
When the device supports such a command: send the command to fetch the HPGL data and save this data to a file…

I have already developed a program to obtain different equipment data, of course using GPIB and LabVIEW connection.
But the problem is getting an identical copy of the analyzer screen using GPIB and LabVIEW connection.

Might be easier to just graph the data.

Unless the device has a documented GPIB command to create said HPGL file and then to read it from somewhere on the device, no there is no way to do what you want.
A quick glance through the programming manual showed the OUTPPLOT; command which seems to be supposed to return the actual HPGL plot file as a string.
