VI Server does not have reference to icon pane, so i beleive that its something not doabled programmatically in labview domain.
This can be a good suggestion though.

and look for icon tools in the FREE DOWNLOADS section
This tool extracts the icons from the VI file.
Another way is to use the Print VI to HTML method
and read the image files generated. One onf them is
the connector pane.
