Is there any way to count how many cycles there has been using Function Generator VI??

I need to know exactly how many cycles have passed using the shipping Function Generator VI. With a user defined input, the function generator has to generate how many cycles this input is. So if the input is 2, 2 sine cycles have to be generated; and at the end of the 2nd sine period the voltage has to decrease to zero. Just a side question related to this: I have ramped my voltage up to a maximum value, then the sine wave starts at a maximum....the sine wave continues...then the sine pattern has to end on a minimum, after 2 cycles, so I guess my question is, how do I get it to stop after 2.5 cycles using function generator vi at 200 Hz.

there some functions in the Frontpanel under NI-Messtechnik-->Datenerfassung-->Zähler-->Ereignis oder Zeit zählen or Data Acquisition-->Counter which you can use possibility.
