Hello all,
I have a system which has a PCIE GPIB card and it has been working perfectly fine up until now.
I recently installed many updates via the updater, and now NI-MAX thinks that I don't have a driver installed yefor the PCIE GPIB card.
Can anyone please provide assistance for this annoying problem?
It was working just two days ago.

Check the following links and see if they help:

I don't even see NI488.2 v19 in any of the compatibility charts. This may be an issue of the newest driver version being incompatible with older cards. Can you downgrade back to the previous version?

That link did not provide any help. I have also plugged in a GPIB-USB device and it also shows that no driver is present, despite having used it yesterday.
I am currently uninstalling the new version, however, I installed the new version in an attempt to alleviate this problem.
Any other suggestions?

Does it show up in Windows Device Manager, or does it have a problem in there too?
If it's a device manager problem, you could try to update the driver manually by pointing it at the directory NI keeps the INF in. It's here on my PC:
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\NI-488.2\Staging\ni488_win64
Though I only have version 17.6 of the NI-488 software, so it might be different on 19.0?

Make sure that the NI Configuration Manager and NI Device Loader services are running. Sometimes antivirus or Windows updates stop them from running. I had to make mine automatic-delayed and they seemed to load consistently after that.
It's low-probability, but it will cause what you're seeing, and it's really easy to check.

I had tried all of these options to no avail.
I had to go nuclear and uninstall everything from the package manager and then reinstall the essentials of what was needed.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I repaired NI-488 in NI Package Manager.
That solved my problem.
