It is ok to generate TTL signal using a counter DAC source?

Hello,

I would like to know if it's ok to use Dac counter source (for example a counter on the USB-6341) to generate a periodic 5V TTL as a trigger for an instrument. It works but it would be possible to use the frequency generator function.

Is there any preferences?

Generating (TTL) pulse trains is a core function of counters on DAQ cards, so it's ok…
