Hi,

Is it possible to load a image (jpg, bmp, tif or any other format) with
labview and then do some vision analysis on that image. Has anyone some kind
of examples on this issue.? I'm using labview 6.1 FDS.

My goal is to use labview to get information about diameter, unroundness and
other geographical information from some piece of hardware.

Your best option is to get a copy of IMAQ, which integrates seamlessly into LabVIEW and is to do exactly what you are asking for.
