Keithley 199

Hi...

I am in a trouble with my Keithley 199 System DMM/Scanner Multimeter which is including Model 1992 scanner card.    

I have a GPIB card and Labview 7.1 software program. But I am not good programmer at Labview. So  I couldn’t constitute any vi file for reading and recording data from scanner card’s  8 channels  sperately . Are there any body who can gave me a hand for constitute vi file?

Hi Basic,

have you tried to search the Keithley website (german one, there surely is an English one too)? Here you can find a manual for the 199 DMM-scanner (Nxx and Oxx are scanner commands...). You will also find ready-to-use LV driver, either for LV5 or LV6 - I couldn't check them as I don't have LV at hand.

Have you tried to search the IDN (Instrument Driver Network) on NI.com? Here you can find a driver too, choose the "LV plug and play"...
