Keithley 2400 - source volts sense current

I have downloaded a sample LabVIEW vi from the Keithley web site, for the 2400 sourcemeter, DCVI_LV6.vi. The vi performs a source current- voltage sense measurement. I wish to build this into a laser diode LVI test setup and I think this sample vi will contain most of the functionality I will need from the 2400 meter. There is a problem running this on my PC though.

First I have installed the Keithley I/O layer along with the PNP driver download. I notice that there is a library file with a lot of stored vi's.

When I try to open DCVI_LV6.vi there are 9 calls to sub vi's asking to locate. In the library I can see two of these sub-vi's but I cannot locate the others.

Has anyone else attempted this?

maybe you should ask Keithley when the llb is coming from them?
Or tell us atleast the names of the missing vis, maybe someone else has them...

have you searched the InstrumentDriverNetwork on NI's website? K2400 is found here and here...

Well, on Keithleys website I only found a download package with a setup inside. I don't want to install any software I don't need - so no help from this side...

But from the names of those missing functions they only use one or two DMM commands like "OUTP bool" for "KE2400 Enable/Disable Source Output" - one look into the DMM manual and you can easily recreate them! This is a great way to learn LabView

Why don't you install the driver from NI instead of resurrecting such an old thread. Simply use Help> Find Instrument Drivers.

I did download the driver from the NI but the vi. listed above are not included at all.
