I just started working with Labview for a study project. I want to use the Keithley 2602 for a long time (20h+) electrical resistance measurement. The device is connected to the PC via a USB-GPIB cable. While I am more or less clear in the basics of labview, I`m facing serious trouble setting up the approporiate VI.
I tried using the example VI for instrument I/O. With help of the assistant for instrument I/O, I`m able to send messages to the sourcemeter and make ist react, unfortunately, I get no data response on send queries (error message "Timeout expired before opreation completed. VISA-Statuscode: bfff0015")
Alternatively, I tried to use Keithleys device driver to make my very own VI, unfortunaly, I`m totally lost in the 40+ sub VIs offered by Keithley.
Maybe anyone has some simple VIs fpr GPIB which I can use?
