LCD 05 display with Labview with MyRIO

Hi, I'm looking for a way to display text on my LCD display. The connections are done but the text are not displaying on the LCD. I believe that I may have missed out on some configuration.

Additional Question : Do we have to change all the text to hexadecimal on the Labview interface so that it can be displayed on the LCD display? Thanks!
